Lerato Child & Youth Care Centre provides a safe, nurturing environment for 20 children, age 0 – 18, rescued from unsafe and neglectful circumstances. We offer stability, education, and personal growth opportunities, helping children become balanced, contributing members of society.
Our Purpose
To create a safe space for children removed from dangerous situations, where they can grow, learn, and develop into well-rounded individuals who positively impact their communities.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between current resources and operational needs by the end of 2025. Your support plays a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal, ensuring that each child receives consistent care, education, and guidance.

How do I know what the resources are spent on?
If you are a donor, you have the right to request bank statements and query any line item directly with the board of directors.
What is your B-BBEE status?
Lerato CYCC is a level 4 B-BBEE EME contributor with 0% black beneficiaries.
Does the government help with funding?
Yes, we are fortunate and grateful to receive partial funding from the Department of Social Development.
